Commercial Applicators:
RAW is currently seeking Commercial Applicators for vegetation control on the Railroad. These positions require employees to travel for approximately 6 weeks on duty, followed by approximately a 1 week break. Duties include operating equipment to apply herbicides on the railroad with a 3 – 4 man crew.
Travel includes 15 states throughout the central US, including Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas Wisconsin and Wyoming. The spray season typically runs from January – October depending on weather conditions. During the off-season, employees work in the shop performing various tasks such as maintaining and building equipment or take a voluntary layoff.
All applicants must be 21 years or older, have a valid driver's license with a clear driving record, pass a DOT medical physical, drug screen and background check.
